A Bridgerton inspired summer wedding at St Giles
I had so much fun photographing Grace & Matt's summer wedding at St Giles House in Dorset. The sweetest couple with a lot of style and fun!
Emma from Martha & the Meadow provided the most gorgeous flowers, dressing the house with peonies and fresh summer blooms finished off with Mediterranean cumquats. Champagne flowed, guests enjoyed the long summer evening and finished the night partying away!
Published on Together Journal, Grace gave a few thoughts on her choice of venue and her incredible Halfpenny London Mayfair wedding dress. "The venue was perfect. It felt like two worlds: grand and very stately (think Bridgeton), with a full-on nightclub in the basement. I have always been a bit of a tomboy and spent three difficult days trying on dresses and didn’t get emotional about any of them. When I went into Amare Bridal, I spotted a dress on the rail which I tried on for a laugh because it was huge and girly and so unlike the style I was going for, but when I saw myself in the mirror, I started shaking. To this day, I still get compliments about how gorgeous the dress was. Sometimes going out of your comfort zone can reap huge rewards."
